Who We Are

We are All About Kombucha, a kombucha brewery nestled into the Gaeltacht in the West of Ireland. Since 2017, we have been serving cans of unpasteurised, LIVE, and organic kombucha – all hand-canned and brewed in Galway, Ireland. Our mission is to create a kombucha which is good on the gut, good to the planet and good on the palate. 

Our Story

The beginning is more along the lines of a love story, where two best friends shared a passion for life through business. Emmett & Keith moved to Vancouver Canada, after finishing their business degrees, yearning for a taste of what the ‘real world’ was like. 

There they set up their first business 'Emerald Services', a venture into gardening and carpentry. It was while working in someone's garden one day, that they were offered a bottle of kombucha; a drink they had never even heard of before but would soon come to love. 

After returning to Ireland, the pair set up their second venture 'Avo Nice Day'; an avocado based food stall. But they had a thirst. A thirst that they soon realised could only be quenched with a brew of their own. They will always remember the excitement of brewing their first batch of booch. They sold it alongside their avocado based goodies and received all sorts of feedback and excitement. And so, All About Kombucha was born.

From Strength to Strength

The boys made their first brews in Emmett's kitchen before converting his garden shed into a micro-brewery of their own. As you can imagine, they quickly outgrew the shed and needed some more space. So they moved to Moycullen to a small warehouse that they could call their own.

They were able to modify their first brewery to suit their needs but the business grew quickly thanks to the 'Grow with Aldi' programme which catapulted them into Aldi stores Nationwide.

As a result of this, they outgrew their little brewery in Moycullen and moved to where we now call home, our brewery in Claregalway. Emmett and some amazing helpers worked on the current brewery for 7 months to get it kitted out and ready for brewing. It's now been the home of All About for over 2 years and the team absolutely love it.

Our Mission

We strive to make a difference by supporting Irish businesses, making sustainable choices, and helping people to take their health into their own hands. Our Booch is packed with Live Cultures to boost gut health and really nourish that microbiome. We are certified organic and only use 100% organic ingredients so you know what you're drinking is clean and healthy; always.
